Our club patrols the beach every Saturday and Sunday and Public Holiday from October to April of each year. South Maroubra Beach is well known for its great surf and with over 1000 members our patrolled beach has never lost a life, between the red and yellow flags, whist a patrol has been on duty.
We are a progressive club that enjoys excellent relations with our local community, councils, registered clubs, local pubs and other significant corporations in the area.
We are most fortunate to have the former premier of NSW, Mr Bob Carr as our club Life Patron along with William 'Bill' Haigh former State Labor Member for Maroubra and Randwick City Council Mayor.
